  2. Develop a greater heart for the local church and the lost in the city.
  3. Equip participants to better know how to reach their own communities back home.

Summer in the City:

Come be a part of our day camp as we reach out to children in our community through sports and arts. These weeks will also include ministry training in other cultures, homeless ministry outreach and much more.

Age Level: Jr. High, Sr. High, College, and Adults
Cost: $220 (meals included)

September 17-19, 2010: Cambodian Weekend
Through this weekend we will be ministering in a park in South Philadephia where there is a large Cambodian and Southeast Asian population. Come learn about this community and help us begin the work of establishing a church in this area where there are very few followers of Christ.

Age Level: Jr. High, Sr. High, College, and Adults
Outreach group: Children,Teens and Young Adults
Cost: $20 per person per evening plus an additional $30 per person (ministry expense) (meals & transportation not included)

Operation Barnabas Ministry Reunion (Nov. 5-7)

November 12-14, 2010: Fire Prevention Weekend
Join us as we will reach out to families in our community through installing smoke detectors and replacing batteries in their homes. Come help us build relationships with those in our community through showing Christ’s love in practical ways.

Age Level: Jr. High, Sr. High, College, and Adults
Outreach group: Families
Cost: $20 per person per evening plus an additional $30 per person (ministry expense) (meals & transportation not included)

Spring Break 2011 in Philly
Through this week you will gain training in cross-cultural ministry in a variety of different settings in Philly. You will also have opportunities to work with different age groups. Come learn more about the city and the people who live here!
